What should I focus on?

I am 33 years old, in the middle of a career which is just about to take off, I have in the past dabbled with the idea of being an entrepreneur. I have twice in the past setup companies which I have been able to run for two years and have failed to scale them.

I am not particularly awesome at what I do, I have stumbled across various job roles and have just been good enough to survive. There is a thrust and drive within that wants to push for the extra ordinary but I am not sure if its really worth the effort.

I want to spend the next 20 years building something great, building something that has a significant social impact, I would like to spend all these years building something that empowers the society help people develop valuable skills, I wanna focus my efforts on building something that creates employment. Social Impact is at the very core of what I wanna do one way or the other I want to serve humanity and I would ideally like to be able to build a business around it alone.

For all the things I want to achieve I think it would be incredible hard to achieve them if I were to rely just on having a job. On the other hand I can just keep my head down and keep on praying as well.
